Clare was a beautiful soul. She was gentle and brave and put so much into nurturing her relationships and weaving the community around her. I had the sense she often felt she never had quite enough time for each of the many people that mattered to her, and to whom she mattered, and her loss so young is simply heartbreaking. As a former colleague (for a few years), I was very sad indeed to hear this news, and hope the family can take some comfort in the fact she was so universally highly regarded both professionally and as a person.

I loved working with Clare, she was always so giving of her time and energy to others, and such fun. She had an enormous talent, so conscientious and a real perfectionist. She had real resilience, Clare cared deeply for getting things right. We would always have a joke, of what was today’s crisis (it was never a real crisis), what extra had she volunteered for and always somewhere within our meeting I would need to reminder her, ‘Clare you know there are only 24 hours in a day!’. Clare had the most wonderful smile that lit up the world and she will be truly missed by all of us who were privileged to have known her.

Clare was a gentle, kind and peaceful soul. I felt very privileged to have worked alongside her. I had my firstborn very close to the same time as Clare and my heart breaks for family, friends and children. May her soul rest in peace and may her family be granted ease and patience to heal and bear this loss.

Caring and thoughtful, always thinking of others and supporting them in any way you could. Despite meeting in a professional capacity, I knew after our first meeting that we were going to be friends. Your warmth and kindness shone through the business talk. I’ll miss our giggles at networking meetings and our uncontrollable laughter when recording videos, and I’ll never forget how you drove hours to be there for my baby shower. I loved working with Clare, but Clare was so much more than a colleague, she had become a wonderful friend too. Clare was one of kindest people I’ve ever met who genuinely wanted the best for everyone around her.

There are no words, I am heartbroken.
Shocked to read of Clare’s passing. Our paths crossed, maybe 20-ish years ago, through work at CMG. Clare was a lovely, gentle soul and a pleasure to have known. My condolences to Clare’s loved ones. Rest in peace.
A wonderful and much loved family member and friend to many, taken way too soon. Thoughts with Andrew, the boys and her family who she leaves behind.
I worked with Clare for a number of years. She was incredibly talented but very modest, even doubting herself perhaps.
She was a wonderful, kind, supportive colleague, always putting her team and others before herself. I’m sure she was the same in her personal life.
We will miss her.
Will be thinking of you all today. We were so lucky to have met Clare when she joined Congress London. A huge group of women benefited from her advice, wisdom, financial expertise, kindness and friendship. She has made a material effect on the lives and the financial stability of so many and she will be remembered with such fondness. Clare was also my and my husband’s financial advisor and gave us hours of her time and and patience, she even had a house warming gift delivered the day we moved into our flat. Such a kind and calm presence I’m so glad to have known Clare and so, so sorry for your loss.
Sometimes words feel so inadequate in expressing our heartfelt sympathies to Andrew, Reuben and Tom for their loss.
Clare was an absolute inspiration and we will never ever forget the warmth, care and compassion, and the friendship fostered between us.
We will cherish those special memories and feel privileged to have known her.

Clare was such a kind, warm person – always non-judgemental and full of empathy for the people around her. Clare was my manager for a few years and she was absolutely wonderful at bringing our team together. I always think of that time fondly. It seems surreal and unbelievably sad that she is no longer around – to get in touch for advice or simply for a chat.
Clare, you were someone with true grace; a beautiful soul. So genuine, kind, compassionate. So grateful to have known you. We are heartbroken to hear this news.

Clare was a beautiful soul, possessed all the great qualities of humanity, compassion, kindness, caring, thoughtfulness. But to me She was an angel, she appeared to support and left with such a big impact on many she helped. She had an enormous talent, always bringing people together. I am honoured to have known her, while mourning for the loss, I will honour her memories by carrying her legacy forward, embracing life with the same enthusiasm and kindness she exemplified.
