Our commitment to the families we serve continues after the funeral. We are very proud of our own in house Bereavement Care Service to support you though the difficult grieving process. This is provided as an extension to our commitment of care and is provided free of charge.
We aim to care for both the newly bereaved and those in the later stages of recovery. There is the opportunity to receive one to one support by a trained counsellor or extended support by one of our trained volunteers. We offer a range of groups and activities which bring people together in a caring and safe environment, including:
New Beginnings
This is a group has a programme of events scheduled through the year ranging from lunches and day trips. The group meets at the Pilgrim Centre, bi-weekly on a Wednesday, 10am until 12 noon.
Evening Bereavement Support Group
Sarah-Jane now holds an evening bereavement support group here at Kingshill House. This is in additional to the bi-weekly morning groups.
For more information on New Beginnings or the evening bereavement support group, please contact Sarah-Jane on 01793 522797 or Sarah-Jane.Sanford@hillierfs.co.uk
