Beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. Paul Bence passed away in the early hours of March 31st 2024, aged 75 years. He is sorely missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace.

    Another who’s earned a deserved place in the Wycombe Wanderers history book. Paul will not be forgotten by those who served under him at Loakes Park in the 1980s. Our fondest thoughts with all the family. From all at WW Ex-Players Association.

    Paul was a wonderful servant over 244 games for the Club which rightfully earned him a place in the Club`s Hall of Fame. He was highly respected for his footballing ability and his humility. He will be sorely missed by the Family that is Brentford Football Club.
