Jane Wilson

In loving memory of Jane who passed away peacefully at home on 10th June 2022, aged 72 years. Jane’s life was an active, productive one full of connections that lasted a lifetime. Jane's family would be glad if, instead of flowers, donations were made to the MND association via this fundraising page in her memory. She was lucky to be able to access the support of the Swindon branch of the MNDA. They provide a vital role of providing information following the shock of initial diagnosis, as well as in helping connect the various services of the NHS available, including support from occupational health, respiratory and physiotherapy teams. Many kind healthcare professionals were involved in helping Jane live with this illness and she was grateful to them and especially to the MNDA association. While they were only able to support her for a short time, the Swindon branch was invaluable in enabling Jane to feel valued and respected and providing autonomy in decisions about her care. Any donations will be very welcome.
