My Grandad was a simple man that never wanted much and yet he lived a fulfilling life raising a amazing, loving family. The memories i have of my grandad i will cherish forever and i am gutted i will not get to make any more new ones with him. A flame went out that Friday that will never ignite again but his flame will live on through “us” his family. He does leave behind a proud Stroud family that will continue on what he has started and when i look to the sky i will be thinking of you. A amazing man that i am proud to call my grandad, love you!
My courage, my strength, my role model, my father. My friend, my confidant, my protector, my teacher. When times are hard I know who I can turn to. The person who is always there. for me. That person is vou. I love vou so much for the life you have given me. I love you so much for the person you have made me.
Thank you for everything that you have done. Thank you for being my number one.
We’ d be lying if we said
That you were just our father-in-law, our grandad.
A friend, a supporter, a mentor, a coach
All this combined, unlike any other.
Large-hearted, always smiling and always there ?
That’s what you’ve been to us
Death may have taken you away
But in our hearts, you’ll always be .
We love you to the moon and back
Thinking of you all and sending hugs x
…. Und am Ende meiner Reise hält der Engel die Hände und er winkt mir zu & lächelt leise – und die Reise ist zu Ende.
In stillem Gedenken an einen wundervollen Menschen, Mervyn.
