Sue from Hillier Funeral Service provided an exemplary service from the very moment I contacted Hillier’s.The burial was outside the local area and she was able to make contact very quickly with the Benefice in question, obtained the relevant … read more permissions for the burial to take place.
Co - ordinated the date of funeral with the local church, arranged the flowers, order of service ,organist and further more put us in contact with the memorial mason’s to remove the existing headstone and ultimately replace it .
She made it very easy to visit my late mum in the Chapel of Rest, followed my instructions to the letter. It is a very lovely peaceful and tranquil setting.
Both on the day of the coffin reception into the church and on the day of the funeral the gentleman leading both services was wonderfully respectful and sympathetic. Organised and faultless. He made us feel like we were the only family that had ever been bereaved.

The suggestion of celebrant [Lisa Hollander] to conduct the service, was an excellent choice. She also showed the courtesy, compassion and understanding at what was a very difficult time for us all.
Everything on the day [The service at Kingshill House, followed by Tea and Coffee with biscuits], and subsequent events went according to the plans that we had.
