Mandy was a very dear friend and I will miss her greatly. We only knew each other for about five years, but it felt that I had known her for a lot longer. She was a very special person and left us much too soon. We had a lot of laughs and that is something else I will miss. Now she is reunited with Andy.

I met Mandy through Swindon Carers at a meeting for carers who had lost the person they were caring for. We had both lost our husbands. It was an instant friendship and bond. I will forever be grateful for my time with Mandy and the support and care we shared. I miss her so much. Rest in peace my special friend xx

So sorry to have lost such a lovely friend. We’ ll miss her so much up the allotment, our chats and giggles, it won’t feel the same without her. She’ll be so sadly missed.
Taken far too young as was Andy , such fighters , god bless them. Thinking of all her family and close friends at this sad time xx ?

We will miss you terribly Mandy; we already do. All who knew you at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust will miss the fun and the silliness and the care that you brought with you. You were the life and soul of our volunteer sessions and the world is a poorer place without you. We love you! X

    To Ben, Sam and Jack,

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mum. She was without doubt the best neighbour in our cul-de-sac which as you know blossomed into a lovely friendship. Her time here was cut far too short. I (Rosie) miss her every day and things just aren’t the same without her. We are always here for any of you should you need it, please don’t hesitate to knock. All our love, Rosie, Sam, Pippa & Louis xx

My dear friend. We had so many good times together both happy and sad and often just plain silly. I will always remember all those times with a smile. I hope you are surrounded by chickens, ‘mooks’ and mud because then you will be in your element. Love you Mrs Pea xxxxx

Mandy, (Manders, Mo) your passing has left a huge gap in our lives but that is dwarfed by the place you take in our hearts. We remember and thank you for all the wonderful, funny and stupid experiences we had, from seaweed throwing on our many holidays together, to walks, to swimming in the sea in March. As your illness progressed you managed each knock back and disappointment with incredible bravery and a stoic attitude. You somehow always kept your generosity of spirit and humour. You are amazing and unique. We cannot believe we have lost two fantastic friends in you and Andy within 10 months, a tragedy and we will miss you immensely. All our love always Nick and Sylv xxxx

Where do I start Mummy Mandy Bear? You more or less adopted me from the day we first met, which if I remember correctly was you coming over when I was moving house and cleaning! I remember me, you and Nicky Pooh being “bloody blokes” when driving in our truck with the rubbish from my garden to the tip. Andy and Monika’s wedding in Poland and trips here, there and everywhere. Making amazing birthday cakes for me and Michelle, meals out, days out or just sat nattering away with you and Andy.
I will always have my “Mandy Bear” that you made me in the office at home.
If there is ever solace in someone’s passing, its the impact that they had on the world they’ve left behind. You and Andy gave so much to so many people and probably never realised it. Nobody who met you will ever forget your generosity and the love you had. Sammy, Ben and Jack are amazing legacies and you were so proud of all three of them, their partners and pets.
Thank you for everything you did for us and for making me a better person for having known you.

Mandy, I am so sad to have lost you but I will think of you often and smile because of the light and laughter you took everywhere with you, and the lovely memories you leave behind, which I’m very grateful for. You were so loving, caring and fun, and a wonderful friend, greatly missed Xxx

Dear Mandy , it is so sad that you left us so soon. I won’t forget how kind and funny you were and the fun we had together with you and Andy……not forgetting our holiday group. We should have been looking forward to many more happy times together. Miss you my friend xx

Mandy I have very happy memories of volunteering with you at GWT – you made me laugh, made the most amazing cakes and had such a positive, can do attitude to (wild)life. Sending love to your family & friends x

Mandy, I feel really lucky to have met you and had the pleasure of your company. You gave your time and energy so generously to the education work of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust. I have precious memories of us daubing, river dipping and cooking bread on the fire. You supported thousands of children to feel more connected to nature and your legacy lives on through them. I miss you and wish I could hear your laugh again. Rest in peace dear Mandy xxx
