Look out for those Twots up there chippy . I’ll forever treasure our house that you made in to a home and think of you fondly when I see an Eddie Stobart and a steam train . The world was always a brighter place because of you and you smile . You gave so much to so many , from donating blood to your wonderful craftsmanship. It takes a special dad to become an amazing Grandad , just like you xxx

    Andy Barty,
    One of our Villages finest.
From the Wendy House to The Crown, Andy was a massive part of our community and life around the football club.
FA Cup final day was always a prime example, unrelenting effort put into ensuring the Pitch and surrounding grounds were in prime condition (best pitch in Wiltshire) before we all hit the Beer watching the Final.
Always a cheeky smile, always a Meaningful hello, always a true gentleman. God bless Andy Barty.

Thankful for the time I had to know you, your stoicism, wit and wonderful humour. You could light any room with ripples of laughter – and never shied from battle – a right proper grafter. You’ve taught us all something precious, just be being yourself, sharing your charisma and kindness and practical wealth. Thank you for the warm welcome you always gave me, a nod with the eye and a shake of the hand. And I loved hearing your adventures to faraway lands. In the night sky we’ll look up to find you, shining down bright as you watch over us all. Now it’s time to rest and stretch out your wings – Hold Tight Barty and Send Love to G.
Until we all meet again… xx

Marina knows what i mean.. your visits to Sweden, one of them where me, you and dad went on a bike ride and stopped for a beer and some smoked eel.
