It is with great sadness we lose a kind friend and remember the occasions when we talked about her much loved Charolaise cattle and the traditional steam engine. We have other moments of reflection whilst appreciating Hamish’s Bentley 4 1/2 L Dash Clock which Ann allowed us to have and the Short and Mason Anemometer which they so kindly gave us after sharing their experience with two young newcomers providing lessons in business etiquette and procedures. Lunchtime at the local Italian is another memory of times we were able to share with Ann when not interrupted by the Covid restrictions and her enjoyment of plain chocolate made a simple posted gift and card remembering her at Birthdays and Christmas a reason to be grateful for the times we have had together.

In loving memory of Ann and indeed of Hamish . We enjoyed many happy lunches and good chats at Fox Mill over the years. Sadly we are unable to attend the funeral but will say a prayer for Ann on the day. God rest their souls. Peter and Sarah Troughton

We first met Hamish and Ann through a phone call from Hamish about my pre-war Bentley. This led to several visits and meetings with Ann. We always admired Ann for her fearless handling of her pedigree bulls which won countless prizes. We shall miss her. May she rest in peace.
