A true fighter and a total inspiration to all. The struggle was constant, you managed to smile throughout! You will be deeply missed by many. Finally, time to rest.
Dearest Charlene, a fiercely loyal friend, absolutely indomitable, driven to be the best you could be, and never ever let anything stand in your way. You were despite your challenges determined to live your best life, and you were an inspiration to many. I know some in taekwondo still talk fondly of the impact you had on their lives. A sign of a life well lived, you’ll be hugely missed by many.

Charlene, words cannot describe how much you mean to me, It was a privilege to call you my best friend. The memories & laughs we had over the years will stay with me forever & I will miss you every day. Xx
Charlene, I have so many memories of time spent together when we were kids, so many laughs, gymnastics, sleepovers (with very little sleep and lots of chatting), swimming and what felt like endless summers playing outside.
Sending much love to your family in this incredibly hard time.
