    Dear Elizabeth and Gina,
Elizabeth, one of ‘your boys’, Richard, adds his condolences. We will be away on the date of the service to celebrate Gordon’s life and we will miss being with you all. We will be thinking and praying for you and your family and hope we can see you soon.
We remember Gordon fondly, his dry wit, and also his positive and smiling outlook. A very gentle gentleman! Peter remembers his weekly sessions of reading the Bible with Gordon who had a very straightforward and loving faith.
    Much love Peter & Sue

Gordon was a dear friend who brought light and love into our lives. Gordon believed in being grateful for the blessings of each and every day, and not letting any trials and challenges bring you down. He looked for the opportunities in life, never the excuses. His was always interested to hear of latest our adventures, while also making sure that we kept our focus on the important things – faith and family. His love of his family, especially his dear Elizabeth, together with his Christian faith were inspirational to us all. We will miss his cheery grin, uplifting humor and his quiet humbleness. The world is a sadder place without him; thus it is now our responsibility to spread the light and love he so selflessly brought to others for so many years.
    God Bless you Gordon.

Sending my love to you all. I only knew Gordon for a short while but in that time I knew straight away that he truly was a lovely man. So kind, witty and always smiling. May he rest in heavenly peace x
