    I am so sorry to hear of your passing John. You and Marian were always such good friends to me over many years. I loved you both very much and we had a special friendship. I am sorry that I cannot be there on Monday to say the final farewell but I will be thinking of you and your lovely family. You were a lovely and respected man John, and you were an amazing friend but also a truly great deputy headteacher. X
