Dear Charlotte, Stan, Jack, Sam and Mycah,
Our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your mom and grandma.
May the beautiful memories that you shared with her and her love for each of you be a source of comfort and strength during this time of grief and in the days ahead. We are grateful to have known her and were blessed by her kindness and grace. It was an extraordinary visit when she came to Vancouver in July 2022. We had such fun going on walks, working on puzzles and enjoying good food. These were some of our precious memories.
Holding your family close in thought and prayer,
Gina and (Mom/Ngin)
A truly remarkable, kind and caring lady and an outstanding coach who taught both me and Meg. We often say how much we valued her lessons and her friendship. I feel privileged to have been coached by Lesley for a huge part of my skating career. She took me to my first ever international competition and introduced me to some wonderful people. I will be forever grateful she was in my life, she not only helped me massively within my skating career but taught me things that have made me become the women I am today. She will be forever missed.
A truly beautiful soul, inside and out with the patience of a saint. You taught me confidence and to believe in myself, how to lose gracefully and how to win with such pride. Your dedication to my success is something I will never forget, even when I know I made practicing an absolute nightmare sometimes. You will forever hold a huge place in my heart Lesley and I hope you are now at peace.
‘A coach is someone who sees beyond your limits and helps you break them’ – I think I can speak for everyone and say this certainly resonates with me and our relationship.
Thank you for everything coach, you truly were one of a kind xxx
This beautiful lady had a smile which would light the room and was a pleasure to look after such a beautiful soul.. ??
I had the pleasure of meeting lesley at the end of her life, God bless her soul and sweet dreams
Words could never be enough to describe how wonderful Lesley was and how fortunate Fujino was to have a coach like Lesley .Fujino had always had special relationship with her, both as a coach and a person- her life would have been totally different without Lesley. The trips to competitions together, journeys to other rinks when the link centre was closed and off ice lesson in her lovely garden-all memories will never be forgotten. Unfortunately Fujino’s big dream “going to the British Championships with Lesley ” never came true because the event itself was cancelled due to covid. However Lesley will stay as her coach forever. Rest in peace , Kiki & Fujino

Dear Tash, Brian and Family,
There is little to say that hasn’t already been said about your wonderful mum Lesley. She was never ordinary. Always remarkable. She had the keenest of eyes and could always find something “extra” to aid her students with extension or expression. She commanded a rink with nothing more than raising her eyebrow or finger. She was the pulse of every rink she entered. She always had grace and passion. The legacy she leaves this world with is extraordinary. She will be sorely missed by all.
I hope your family find comfort in sharing your wonderful memories.
Prayers for your family, and God bless
Michelle & Heather Evans x x
Lesley you were such an amazing lady who helped shape me into the person I am today, your care and dedication to teaching me and everyone else was amazing! You taught me how to be resilient and push myself to achieve, I enjoyed our chats whilst dawdling around the rink before realising half if my lesson had passed! Will always remember you and the years we spent together thank you from the bottom of my heart and may you rest in peace,
Sending much love to all of the family from Naomi xx

I am where I am in my career today because of you, so thank you for all of the unforgettable memories over the many years of competitions, summer camps and day to day training. The turnout today will show what a wonderful lady you were, a true skating legend. You will be forever missed.. Lots of love, Jordan xxx
