Donations

In 1988 Martin set himself a target of raising £100,000 for Prospect Hospice. He later admitted he didn’t think he could achieve it, but after nearly 24 years he did. He cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats 3 times, rode sections of the Tour De France course, completed 6 charity cycle rides around the Canary Islands, 6 tours of the Czech Republic, and many more. He also volunteered for the Prospect Hospice as a charity box collector, and received a Pride of Swindon Award in 2010. Martin’s family say they would rather not receive flowers, but if anyone feels they would like to donate to the Prospect Hospice, that would be wonderful and much appreciated.

A wonderful uncle who we will forever miss. Martin was a huge inspiration in his fundraising and cycling and also a warm and hilarious person. We feel honoured to have had him in our lives so long and we will miss him greatly. With love from Anna, Gordon, George, Stephen and Raffy xxxxx
