Dear family and friends. Sadly I cannot make the event as I’m working so I wish you all the best on this day.
I loved Phil… the Chancellor. The man who brought together the UK’s worst reprobates and misfits and arranged the most fantastic boys own holidays to weird and wild places. Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic to name a few. Which ever flights were cheapest really! I’ve never laughed louder or harder than on these trips and I thank you for those memories. On these trips our eyes were opened to new wonderful things, people, places, food and memories that will last amongst us till the day we die. Things that you and Beaky Boy (aka Robert Salmon) spent your time on and made happen. Thanks Phil for those memories and Godspeed to your next adventure. Bob (aka Paul Armfield) xoxox
Phil was such a lovely, lovely man and I know the pain of losing him will be unbearable for you. I hope you can take some comfort and feel proud that he was yours, although not for long enough.
I will remember a kind, generous and fun man (the photo sums him up!) and of course I will always smile about our doughnut chat!
Sending love and hugs to you all.
Heartfelt sympathy to you all xx
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time 🙏
A life well lived. We will miss you dearly
To friendship, adventure and the memories made. Carpe Diem
To everyone in the Mendham family, and all those who also knew and miss Phil, we offer our deepest sympathy at this sad time.
We will always look fondly on the pictures of Phil, with a distinctive twinkle in his eyes, and we hope that his grandchildren will inherit his sense of fun. We know that they have missed out on knowing a wonderful grandfather.
With lots of love, Jeni and David.
